This unconventional creation, possibly a personal project or a secret client order, stands out as a historical anomaly, as Zebrawood was briefly used by Peter Protzmann from 1971-1972 and not part of the standard Eames offerings, which were limited to Brazilian Rosewood until 1991, later expanded to Cherry, Walnut, Palisander, white ash, and ebonized finishes. Recently reupholstered in smooth Khaki green leather, it’s a collector’s gem.
